development & cultural change |

The impact of culture on the bottom line is clear. Harvard Business
School professors John Kotter and James Heskett studied over 200 companies
for several years and found that culture has a significant impact
on a firm's long-term economic performance and that the role of culture
in determining financial performance is becoming even greater in today's
faster-changing, more competitive business environment.
Our approach to Organisational development and cultural change
is based on best practice methodologies, research and experience!
We provide support in the following:
- Gap analysis
- Strategy
- Action planning
- Leadership development
- Project management
- Change management
- Cultural survey
- Evaluation

aligned with their demands of their business environment consistently
outperform more organisations that are not aligned:
- 571% higher gains in operating earnings
- 417% higher returns on investment
- Stock prices increased 363% (The New
Corporate Cultures: Deal and Kennedy, 1999)

| EFQM &
continuous improvement |
|
| |
|
| K2i helps organisations to improve performance through using
the Business Excellence Model / EFQM Excellence Model and other
Total Quality Management approaches aimed at Continuous Improvement.
Using the Model enables organisations (private and public
sector and SMEs) to carry out Self Assessment comparing what
they do and achieve with the Model's description of Excellence.
They are then able to identify what they could build on and
what they should do to improve. As well as helping with the
process, k2i Consulting Group assists organisations with the
implementation of the Actions Plans that come out of the Self
Assessment process.
In summary we can help you to:
- Determine and "benchmark" the Excellence of
your performance
- Assess financial and non-financial successes in order
to communicate the value of your efforts and your long-term
worth
- Understand how you would fare in an external "Award"
evaluation
- Constructively "rally" the organisation to attain
such a goal
- Coach and mentor your teams on how to realistically focus
on their achievements and define them within the constraints
of an Award "submission" document
EFQM excellence model
/ business excellence model self assessment
Organisations are forever under pressure to improve business
results and the satisfaction they give their customers.
Many organisation are looking for ways to develop further how
they are run. They may have implemented Total Quality Management,
use Business Process Re-engineering and now want to re-position
themselves. Or they may be wondering how to integrate their
quality systems into a coherent business strategy.
Which of the many approaches variously recommended would be
most beneficial in supporting a drive towards continuous improvement
and business excellence?
The Business Excellence Model described below offers the opportunity
to highlight interrelated issues crucial to business, and to
prioritise continuous improvement activities through the means
of Self Assessment. It is Self Assessment against the criteria
of the Model that enables opportunities for improvement to be
identified.

The premise for the model is that:
Customer Satisfaction, People (employees) Satisfaction and
Impact on Society
are achieved through ....
Leadership driving ....
Policy and Strategy, People Management, Resources and Processes
leading ultimately to excellence in ....
Business Results.
The nine criteria above can be grouped into Results (what is
achieved) and Enablers (how the results are being achieved).
The percentage points shown in the model represent the allocation
of points across the criteria - the organisation being scored
out of 1,000 for Awards purposes. |

| CharterMark
- obtaining "recognition" for your achievements
|
| |
|
|
Demonstrating performance improvement and obtaining market
place recognition of achievements, (particularly if they are
of a non-financial nature) is a challenge for all public sector
organisations. We work with project teams to help them "benchmark"
themselves and achieve recognition through CharterMark.
In summary we can help you to:
- Determine and "benchmark" the Excellence of
your performance
- Understand how you would fare in an external evaluation
- Constructively "rally" the organisation to attain
such a goal
- Coach and mentor your teams on how to realistically focus
on their achievements and define them within the constraints
of an CharterMark "submission" document
